Amanda brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work as a therapist. Diagnosed with depression and ADHD at age 15, she experienced firsthand the value of therapy at a young age — an experience that not only shaped her personal growth but also inspired her path into the mental health field. That early connection to healing continues to guide her compassionate, client-centered approach today.

Amanda earned her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University. Since entering the field she has worked in a variety of roles, including case manager, supervisor, and program manager for an Adult Case Management Program. For the past four years, she has focused on providing individual therapy to teens and adults.

Amanda’s clinical experience includes working with individuals impacted by depression, anxiety-related disorders, severe mental illness, substance use disorders, ADHD, autism, and trauma. Having lived with neurodivergence herself, she brings a particularly deep passion and insight into supporting neurodivergent individuals, especially those with ADHD and Autism. Amanda enjoys helping clients better understand the unique ways their brains work — not as better or worse, but simply different — and helping them find tools that fit their needs and daily lives.

This personal connection to mental health care has shaped a warm, collaborative therapeutic style. Amanda is deeply committed to creating a space where every client feels seen, heard, and accepted. Her approach is always individualized, taking into account each person’s physical health, past experiences, social environment, and identity. She is especially passionate about helping clients build lasting resilience and recovery, while honoring the strengths and self-knowledge they already carry.

Outside of the therapy space, Amanda enjoys reading, traveling, playing video games, and spending time with Juno — her service dog in training.
